摘要
We conducted two experiments that investigated the effect of visual context on the naturalness of auditory stimuli. The visual context was provided by two images with different natural senses in Experiment 1. In Experiment 2, participants evaluated auditory stimuli presented in two rooms that would give a different sense of nature. The participants' evaluations were done by the SD method and onomatopoeic responses. Onomatopoeia is considered to represent multiple sensory information and has the advantage that it is easy to obtain intuitive impressions. The results showed that the visual context influenced the impressions of auditory stimuli. The naturalness of the visual context influenced the phonology of the answered onomatopoeia.
