摘要
The article reveals the features of the first year of functioning of the Anti-Imperialist League, formed following the results of the World Anti-Imperialist Congress in Brussels in 1927. Based on the materials of the organization stored in the funds of the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History, the author identifies three main meetings of the league's leaders to resolve organizational issues in 1927 (in Amsterdam, Cologne and Brussels). The article highlights important issues that were on the agenda of each meeting, ranging from issues relating to the structure of the new organization to questions about which associations should be included in the Anti-Imperialist League. The author also identified a few problems that the leaders of the organization faced in the first year of its activity and determined that the most intractable problems were those related to the financial support of the headquarters of the Anti-Imperialist League in Berlin and the functioning of the league for organizing national liberation movements in colonial countries. Another problem identified was the creation of league sections in imperialist countries such as Britain and the Netherlands. The article concludes that by the end of the first year of work, the leaders of the Anti-Imperialist League managed to approve a clear structure of the organization, create departments to ensure control over the finances of the league and include associations from the largest countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and America in the ranks of the organization, which allowed transnational connections of the Anti-Imperialist League.
