摘要
The present study investigates the societal impacts of seaport decarbonization initiatives considering global climate change concerns. It integrates existing studies, concentrating on technological, environmental, economic, and social issues. Seaport decarbonization not only solves environmental problems, but also generates demand for sustainable employment opportunities and improves community health by lowering air and noise pollution. The study underlines the importance of sustainable port operations and their societal impact. It offers useful insights for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers working to transition to sustainable and decarbonized seaports.
