摘要
Adjustable magnetic field permanent magnet machine has extensive applications in speed regulating drive system with flux weakening control and reactive power composition system. This paper proposes a novel rotary magnetic field regulating (RMFR) permanent magnet machine (PMM). This type of adjustable magnetic-field permanent magnet machine has the advantage of superior magnetic field regulating characteristic with zero excitation losses. In this paper, the operating principle and magnetic field of the RMFR PMM are analyzed. The FEM simulation is used to verify the proposed RMFR permanent magnet machine. The simulation results show that the RMFR permanent magnet machine has superior flux regulating characteristic. The RMFR permanent magnet machine is appropriate for speed regulating drive system and also the reactive power composition.
