摘要
The book "Subjective Experience, Its Fate in Psychology, Psychoanalysis and Philosophy of Mind," edited by Morris N. Eagle, presents a rich and critical examination of consciousness and subjective experience, challenging traditional views and advocating for a more integrated approach across disciplines. This work is particularly relevant to the field of philosophy and psychology as it explores the complexities of human consciousness through diverse theoretical lenses, including phenomenology, psychoanalysis, and neuroscience. By critiquing the limitations of reductionist and behaviorist perspectives, the book emphasizes the importance of subjective experience in understanding mental processes and highlights the need for innovative methodologies that bridge empirical research with personal lived experiences. This volume encourages scholars and practitioners to rethink and deepen their understanding of consciousness, making it a valuable contribution to ongoing debates in philosophy and psychology
