SYNTHESIS OF NITROGEN-CONTAINING DERIVATIVES OF 2-ALLYLPHENOL AND STUDY OF THEIR VISCOSITY-TEMPERATURE PROPERTIES IN LUBRICATING COMPOSITIONS IN I-12A OIL

摘要
The article presents the results of studies of a number of obtained nitrogen- containing compounds based on 2-allylphenol, aldehydes and amines (on Mannich). The structures of the compounds are confirmed by IR and NMR spectroscopy data. The temperature properties of the obtained compounds and cooligomer were studied by thermogravimetric and differential thermal methods and their high thermal and thermo-oxidative properties were revealed. It was found that in all synthesized compounds the initial temperature of weight loss is observed at 200 degrees C, and in the co-oligomer this process is observed at higher temperatures (245 degrees C). The synthesized compounds with high thermal and thermal- oxidative properties can be considered as potential antioxidants that can find application in lubricating oils in compositions with various additives, in particular, polymethacrylate type. In order to identify the possibility of their use in lubricating oils with a viscosity additive- with copolymers of decyl methacrylate with dicyclopentadiene, compositions were made (with a ratio of synthesized compounds and copolymer- 1:1 wt.) and their viscosity-temperature properties were studied by the viscosimetric method. Compositions based on the synthesized compounds and the taken copolymer were studied in the composition of distillate oil I-12A. And on the basis of the synthesized co-oligomer and the taken copolymer in semi-synthetic oil obtained by mixing of I-12A oil and pentaerythritol oil was studied. The results of the studies showed that while using in compositions with a viscosity additive of the polymethacrylate type in low- viscosity distillate oil I-12A (at their ratio of 1:1 mass, total concentration of 4 and 6%) allows to increase the kinematic viscosity from 3.8 to 8 mm2/h at 100 degrees C. At the same time, the viscosity-temperature properties of the compiled lubricating compositions are improved. The viscosity index of composition with oligomer (VI) increases from 90 to 100-115 at their concentration of 4% and to 110-117- at 6%. Similar results can be achieved with pentaerythritol oil and co-oligomer (VI). In the presence of this composition viscosity is 120 at a total concentration of 4% and 125- at 6%)
