摘要
The article analyzes how the double sense of belonging to Venezuela and Spain built the identity of the subjects in their country of origin and how this sense of belonging can change with the migration process. The research reflects on how the Spanish origins of the nine people analyzed have influenced and facilitated adaptation and integration to the host country due to the familiarity they already felt with Spain. Through a study based on the qualitative method, we apply a semi-structured interview to nine Venezuelan people of Spanish origin, in which the seven grieves involved in the migration processes are evaluated, and additionally we use the Ulysses Scale, the scale for evaluating risk factors in mental health in migration. The migratory process involves multiple grieves and has a strong emotional burden, so in this work we take into account the personal conditions and the social conditions of the migratory process of the people interviewed and how they are related to the appearance of a process of grief and stress that can lead to Ulysses Syndrome.
