摘要
What if the learning of architecture could start earlier? How to bring architecture closer to society? In some Latin American universities, the European entrance exam is replaced by an intensive undergraduate course with specific content for each career. For a month, students have the opportunity to connect with the discipline they want to learn and put their skills and talents into practice, while faculty can identify hidden potentials or shortcomings. In 2017, at the UCSG School of Architecture, an intensive undergraduate workshop was developed in collaboration with a senior project workshop (3rd year) to create playful devices and games capable of materializing and communicating contemporary architectural concepts to the youngest members of society: children. An approach to architecture as the transformation of knowledge in a process of oscillation: from ideas to things and from things to ideas.
