摘要
In mobile communication systems, which are one of important social infrastructures, 5G commercial services started in 2020. In order to deal with the increase of data traffic in the future, various new services, and sophistication of cyber- physical systems using AI, a research and development for enhancement of 5G (5G Evolution) and 6G, which aims to start the service in around 2030, are underway. This paper introduces a technical concept of New Radio Network Topology (NRNT) that DOCOMO and NTT are researching toward 5G Evolution and 6G. It also shows some results of experiment trials and system-level simulations using RIS, metasurface, and distributed MIMO, which are important elemental technologies in NRNT.
