摘要
With the growing development of the mobile internet, vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs), an important part of intelligent transport systems (ITS), have received extensive attention from academics, but it is difficult for traditional address-centric TCP/IP networks to meet current user needs; therefore, the introduction of named data networking (NDN) into VANETs is proposed. In vehicular named data networking (VNDN), vehicles sending interest packets to retrieve the desired content may cause broadcast storm problems. It may also be difficult to establish a stable connection between nodes due to the fast speed of moving vehicles. In this paper, a location-based clustering (LC) approach is proposed, which uses the information of the vehicle's current position, speed, and travel direction to evaluate, select the best cluster head (CH), and establish intracluster and intercluster communication. The simulation results show that the proposed approach can reduce the network delay and packet loss ratio compared with those of other related works.
