With the progress of science and technology, the field of sports training began to introduce a variety of high-tech monitoring equipment to improve training efficiency and athlete performance. In this paper, a basketball training aid system combining thermal imaging monitoring and wearable devices is developed. The system can capture the heat energy distribution of athletes during training and convert it into heat energy consumption data through a specific algorithm. Wearable devices such as smart bands and activity trackers are integrated to collect physiological data and location information of athletes. These devices transmit data in real time via a wireless network to a central processing unit, and through data fusion technology, combine thermal imaging data with data collected by wearable devices to achieve accurate identification of the athlete's moving position and simulation of heat consumption. The experimental results show that the method combined with thermal imaging monitoring and wearable devices can effectively identify the movement position of athletes in basketball training and accurately simulate their movement heat consumption. Compared with traditional training methods, this research method shows significant advantages in both accuracy and real-time data. Thermal imaging provides a clear picture of the heat distribution of athletes during training, while wearables provide detailed physiological and positional data. Combining the two can not only provide coaches with comprehensive training feedback, but also help athletes better understand their physical condition and energy consumption patterns.
