摘要
The effect of gamma-irradiation on the structural, morphological and optical properties of polytetrafluoroethylene was studied at an absorbed dose of 0.1 kGy. It has been shown that such a dose leads to an increase in the diffuse reflectance coefficient by 28% in the spectral range of 220-850 nm. The maximum effect is observed in the wavelength range from 300 to 400 nm. A correlation between radiation-induced changes in the surface microstructure and the enhancement of light reflection from gamma-irradiated PTFE was established.
