摘要
In this paper, a reconfigurable intelligent metasurface based on the integration of transmission and reflection of diode is proposed. The transmission and reflection modes of the structure are to apply different bias voltages to the diode, and the original structure is changed by the on-off of the diode, so that the incident wave in the X-polarization direction is emitted as a Y-polarized wave in transmission and an X-polarized wave in reflection. Different from the traditional transversal integrated design, the transversal integrated metasurface of the invention adopts a single-layer integrated design of transmission unit, reflection unit, polarization control and phase shifting structure. As a proof-of-concept, a 1-bit sub-terahertz coding metasurface under different diode-state combinations attains a polarization-diverse full-space beam steering in a wide angular range. The proposed metasurface offers a feasible route to enable multifunction-integrated full-space wireless communication.
