摘要
The Pochury tribe of Nagaland, India, boasts a rich cultural heritage where tradition thrives. This study explores the ethnoarchaeological aspects of the L & uuml;ruri community, one of the sub-groups of the Pochury tribe, which is known for their traditional pot-making craft, practiced only by the womenfolk. The study discusses potential strategies for preserving and promoting this invaluable cultural heritage, ensuring its continued existence for future generations. By exploring the Pochury tribe's pot-making tradition, this paper aims to contribute to a broader understanding of the rich cultural heritage of Nagaland. It also highlights the cultural, social, and economic significance, and the need to study traditional pot making to understand its cultural heritage, technological patterns, and practices, as well as the changes it underwent over time due to modernization and globalization. This study contributes towards preserving Indigenous knowledge systems and the impact of socio-economic transformations on traditional crafts. La tribu Pochury du Nagaland en Inde est dot & eacute;e d'un riche patrimoine culturel o & ugrave; la tradition prosp & egrave;re. Cette & eacute;tude s'int & eacute;resse aux aspects ethno-arch & eacute;ologiques de la communaut & eacute; des L & uuml;ruri, l'un des sous-groupes de la tribu Pochury, r & eacute;put & eacute;e pour son artisanat traditionnel de poterie, pratiqu & eacute;e uniquement par les femmes. Une discussion dans l'& eacute;tude porte sur les strat & eacute;gies potentielles afin de pr & eacute;server et promouvoir ce patrimoine culturel inestimable, garantissant ainsi la p & eacute;rennit & eacute; de son existence pour les g & eacute;n & eacute;rations futures. Par l'exploration de la tradition de poterie de la tribu Pochury, cet article a pour ambition de contribuer & agrave; une connaissance plus vaste du riche patrimoine culturel du Nagaland. Il met & eacute;galement en exergue la signification culturelle, sociale et & eacute;conomique ainsi que la n & eacute;cessit & eacute; d'& eacute;tudier la poterie traditionnelle pour comprendre son patrimoine culturel, ses mod & egrave;les technologiques et ses pratiques ainsi que les & eacute;volutions qui ont & eacute;t & eacute; les siennes au cours du temps en raison de la modernisation et de la mondialisation. Cette & eacute;tude contribue & agrave; & eacute;clairer la pr & eacute;servation des syst & egrave;mes de savoir indig & egrave;nes et l'impact des transformations socio-& eacute;conomiques sur les artisanats traditionaux. Este estudio explora los aspectos etnoarqueol & oacute;gicos de la comunidad l & uuml;ruri, uno de los subgrupos de la tribu pochuri, que es conocida por su artesan & iacute;a tradicional de fabricaci & oacute;n de cer & aacute;mica, practicada solo por las mujeres. El estudio analiza posibles estrategias para preservar y promover este invaluable patrimonio cultural, asegurando su existencia continua para las generaciones futuras. Al explorar la tradici & oacute;n alfarera de la tribu pochuri, este art & iacute;culo tiene como objetivo contribuir a una comprensi & oacute;n m & aacute;s amplia del rico patrimonio cultural de Nagaland. Tambi & eacute;n se destaca la importancia cultural, social y econ & oacute;mica y la necesidad de estudiar la alfarer & iacute;a tradicional para comprender su herencia cultural, patrones tecnol & oacute;gicos y pr & aacute;cticas, as & iacute; como los cambios que sufri & oacute; a lo largo del tiempo debido a la modernizaci & oacute;n y la globalizaci & oacute;n. Este estudio contribuye a preservar los sistemas de conocimiento ind & iacute;genas y el impacto de las transformaciones socioecon & oacute;micas en las artesan & iacute;as tradicionales.
