摘要
Optimizing urban mobility for older people has become imperative in the global demographic shift towards aging, which requires the integration of smart mobility solutions within the framework of Information and Communication Technologies. This systematic review examines the impact of these technologies on the mobility decisions and behaviors of older adults and categorizes the findings into five key areas: Information and Communication, Navigation and Route Management, Safety and Monitoring, Accessibility and Support, and Innovative Transport Solutions. The analysis shows that while older people are increasingly using these technologies and have positive attitudes toward them, significant challenges remain, including uneven digital literacy, physical limitations, and continued mistrust of new technologies over traditional methods. The study identifies a critical gap in the current application of Information and Communication Technologies that fails to meet the complex needs of the aging population comprehensively. It emphasizes the urgent need for in-depth user assessments and targeted training programs to increase user adoption and satisfaction. This strategic focus aims to bridge the gap between current technology adoption and optimal integration to ensure a more inclusive and efficient transportation system for older adults.
