摘要
Some research work on open-water CFD simulation for a propeller model by using RANSE solver was presented in this paper. The solver adopted Laplace weight function interpolation method to implement the coupled computation of different domains. The effect of solving methods, mesh types and the location of grid interface on computational results was investigated based on typical propeller model. The results of calculation verify that the Laplace weight function interpolation method can improve the computational stability and ensure the accuracy of calculation. Meanwhile, a recommended computational method for open-water performance of a propeller was presented and applied to a typical propeller model. The computational results agreed well with the results of model test, which means the recommended computational method is reasonable and reliable. © 2022, Editorial Board of Journal of Ship Mechanics.
