摘要
Magnetic vortex in nanodisks has been applied to magnetic random access memory, new magnetic logic, microwave oscillator because of its special properties e.g. small size, high thermal stability and super integration. These applications mainly take advantage of the dynamic behavior characteristics of gyration and polarity switching. The four switching mechanisms of magnetic vortex core are studied in detail in this letter, and characteristics and requirements for each switching mechanism are also discussed deeply. © 2016, Materials Review Magazine.
