摘要
Railways are an important transportation mode for land transportation infrastructure, and with the growing interest in global environmental issues and SDGs, the expectation is that related technologies will continue to be developed to facilitate a sustainable society. One of the important research themes in the railway field is energy-saving technology, and the focus of this study is on energy-efficient operation. In the study of energy-efficient operation, data on trains should be measured, however these measurements and experiments are not easy. In this study, an IoT remote system was used to store data in the cloud in real time, so that the data could easily be collected. By analyzing the measurement results, we show that the relationship between operation and energy can be explained by the theory of train operation. Furthermore, in the case of high energy consumption, methods for improvements will be discussed from the theoretical point of view. © 2024 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
