摘要
The problems of sizing the valve/actuator combination properly are considered. Normal loads are compared with design loads. Load-limiting devices are described. Thrusts up to 500% of design value are possible because of safety margins built into actuator systems. Energy absorption devices either of spring or brake type are discussed.
