摘要
A mathematical model of the heat process in a furnace can be used for studying structural and operational parameters of the furnace. By using such models for the partition wall and hot skid in a reheating furnace and the heating method in soaking pits, results which would otherwise be impossible for prototype experiments or physical models have been obtained. By summarizing previous studies on problems of using the zone method, a simplified calculation method of the radiation interchange area is presented. Furthermore, a main variable correction method for solution of the energy balance equations and a combined model of the zone method with finite difference techniques are developed.
