Telecommunication Networks of the PTT Stations on Their Path into the Year 2000.

Problems associated with the maintenance and expansion of the present telecommunication system up to about the year 1990 are considered. For certain sectors projections are made also for the following decade. The construction and connection of intercentral networks in the cities are discussed, along with the introduction of digital telephone central offices IFS, digital subscriber lines, video conference facilities, mobile telephony as well as narrow-band and broadband ISDN.
