摘要
The continuous trend to efficiency improvement in modern steam power plants has resulted in increased R&D activities worldwide. During the last decade many activities worldwide have been in operation to develop new, cost effective, high-temperature materials on the basis of martensitic 9- to 12 % Cr steels for power plant application for 600/620 °C steam temperature. In Europe the development work was performed within the frame of COST501 (1986 to 1992) and is continuing today in COST522.
