3-D finite element analysis for elastic deformation of the involute helical gears

摘要
In this paper, the elastic deformation of involute helical gears in the heavy-load gear transmission system was mainly studied. I-DEAS (Integrated Design Engineering Analysis System) was used to build the 3-D (three Dimensions) finite element model of helical gears, and to determine the boundary condition, then the precision analysis calculation of the elastic deformation in six different contact places was obtained respectively, and part results were showed.
