List of the World's Nuclear Power Plants.

The list of the world's nuclear power plants published annually by atw (which covers also the CMEA countries) in its 1987 edition (featuring the state as of August) contains a total of 625 nuclear power plants with an aggregate 504,660 net MWe, which are in operation, under construction or ordered in 35 states. Of these, 403 with an aggregate 298,311 MWe are in operation in 26 countries, 138 plants with 122,691 MWe are under construction in 23 countries, and 84 with 83,658 are ordered in 22 countries. The list contains all nuclear power plants with their designations, locations, operators, types, manufacturers, net powers, and the actual and planned dates, respectively, of the beginning of commercial operation and, for the plants already in operation, the total cumulated electricity generation since their commissioning dates.
