DEPENDENCE OF DYNAMIC SPINDLE ASSEMBLY CHARACTERISTICS UPON MACHINE OPERATING CONDITIONS.

Results of experimental investigation of the dynamic characteristics of a two-bearing lathe spindle assembly are given. The effect of the spindle speed and of the rolling bearing's temperature and lubrication on resonant vibrations amplitude and assembly dissipative properties, are analyzed. A relationship is established between spindle vibration level and front bearing hydrodynamic processes which are determined by its friction conditions.
