SKEW BUBBLE DOMAINS IN YFeO3 CRYSTALS.

An investigation was made of the domain structure of single-crystal YFeO//3 plates in which the easy magnetization axis made an angle phi equals 0-30 degree with the normal to the plane of the sample. The dependences of the parameters of stripe and bubble domains on the angle phi were determined and it was found that the bubble walls could be inclined relative to the easy magnetization axis and the angle of inclination could vary with the magnetic field. The anisotropy of the domain-wall energy and the inclination of the easy magnetization axis could, in some circumstances, give rise to mutually perpendicular stripe domains, elliptic bubble domains, maze domain structure, or bubbles with circular bases.
