摘要:
The authors review the design and operation of series-array voltage standards based on the zero-bias approach. Attention is focused on the weakest point of this approach, namely, the stability of the quantized voltage state in the presence of noise. Series arrays typically including 1500 Josephson junctions driven at 90 GHz have been used to generate quantized reference voltages in excess of 1 V. Such standards simplify the procedure and reduce the measurement uncertainties in the calibration of electrochemical cells.
