AIRCRAFT FLASHING LIGHTS: A SUMMARY OF CANADIAN FORCES INVESTIGATIONS.

Summary of the recent work carried out by the Canadian Forces primarily with aircraft warning signals, navigation and anti-collision displays, and the autokinetic phenomenon. Discussed herein are two laboratory experiments carried out at Canadian Forces Institute of Environmental Medicine on warning signals, three operational studies carried out by the Canadian Forces primarily with aircraft warning signals, navigation and anti-collision displays, and the autokinetic phenomenon. Discussed herein are two laboratory experiments carried out a Canadian Forces Institute of Environmental Medicine on warning signals, three operational studies carried out by the Canadian Forces Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment on anti-collision and navigation lights, and one laboratory experiment carried out at the Defence Research Establishment, Toronto, on autokinetic latency and displacement.
