IMPAC Europe, Westvaco's new European consumer packaging subsidiary, agreed to by Sony Music Printing. Subject to regulatory approval, the deal is expected to be completed before the end of the month. IMPAC Europe's expansion in Holland further strengthens its mainland European base to provide printing and packaging throughout the continent. The Haarlem plant's printing equipment is compatible with equipment at IMPAC's other locations, making it easy to move production among the plants to improve efficiency and service to customers.
