摘要
The molten carbonate fuel cell (MCFC) is marked as a new electric power generating system which is locatable in the place of demand in the form of a cogenerating system for thermal and electric power, because the MCFC has excellent features of high efficiency and environmental acceptability. By the conventional manufacturing method, however, it was difficult to increase the size and mass produce the main components: the electrolyte and electrodes. For the MCFC, a new method of fabricating the electrolyte/electrode combined tape by the doctor-blade process and a new electrode by using foamed nickel have been developed. These make it possible to increase the size and upgrade the performance and reliability.
