摘要
On the basis of the results of processing and analysis of space-borne information on the region of the Pacific 10-15° North Latitude and 135-140° West Longitude, a seasonal variability of cloud quantity is identified. Periods most convenient for space monitoring of the region are selected. Areas with a low level of cloud in other regions of the Pacific close to the region of prospective solid minerals mining prospects are also shown. It is shown that the more convenient periods for space monitoring are March and July. The average quantity of clouds in the months is 3-4 amounts. The seasonal oscillations of cloud quantity is connected with latitude dependence of internal tropical convergence and with the effect of the high-pressure area in the eastern part of the Pacific. The conclusion is made that the more stable regime of small-cloud weather is observed in winter-spring and summer-autumn periods.
