摘要
From an analysis of the flow of fluids into a sand around a well bore for the purpose of consolation, the authors conclude: the volume of a second fluid which can bypass a fluid initially injected into a sand exposed to the well bore can be determined through application of a mathematical model of the injection operation; fluid bypassing occurs in the formation adjacent to the top or bottom of a perforated interval. Excessive flushing might cause some consolidation treatments to fail; and the volume of fluid bypassing a higher-viscosity plastic solution is roughly proportional to the length of the perforated interval and the volume of plastic solution.
