摘要：
A modular technique is described, developed for communications applications in the millimeter range. First the pretuned module technology is explained. It is shown to ease considerably the rf and dc bias circuit designs, with results similar to the conventional circuits. Then, a varactor tuned oscillator using this technology is presented. Finally, it is shown how this oscillator can be used for mm wave radio links, with particular emphasis on cost reduction possibilities.
