摘要
Although digital gallium arsenide ICs have been slow in becoming a mainstream semiconductor technology, many of the obstructions to their use have been removed. Device densities have increased, a broader variety of standard and application-specific IC devices are becoming available, prices are coming more into line with user expectations, and performance has improved. The main topics are opportunities in fiberoptics, GaAs and microwave technology, GaAs arrays, cell-based logic design, GaAs-on-silicon technology, and a look into the future of GaAs IC's.
