摘要
An improved chromatograph, containing both universal neon ionization detectors and selective electron-capture detectors is described. The electronics contained new equipment for digital processing of the chromatograms, which increases the sensitivity of the analysis by virtue of preliminary smoothing of the detector noise. A new sample selection system permitted for the first time reliable sampling of the atmosphere in the cloud layer of the planet, where the pressure of the atmosphere being analyzed was significantly lower than the pressure in the gas lines of the chromatograph and in the scientific instrumentation compartment of the spacecraft. The results of measurements with this instrument are reported.
