In the picture signal transmission system, it is necessary to correct the relative gain distortion of the luminance to chrominance signal without producing relative delay distortion. This paper describes a method to equalize the aforementioned distortion. For this purpose, the Bessel polynomial is used to design the passive equalizer. This method produces a simple straight manipulation. The experimental result of the above equalizer shows that the output response of the modulated sine-squared pulse agrees with the calculated result.
