摘要
New World Services, the Association of Independent Corrugated Converters' (AICC) benefits partner, offers ideas on handling rising costs of health care. Some practical tips on how to deal with agent and insurance provider at renewal time are also presented. Emergency room (ER) benefits should be designed in such as way that employees consider their cost first. To combat overuse of ER benefits, many plans tried to define what would constitute an emergency, and whether a particular trip to the emergency room was really necessary. now a days, many plans provide a 100 percent benefit after an upfront co-pay. A co-pay is the amount the employee usually owes for each trip to the emergency room.
