摘要
As the use of more sophisticated alloy steel and component size increases year by year in power plant, petrochemical plant, oil exploration and production plant construction, the need for controlled and accurate in situ heat treatment has grown from a matter of small consideration at the planning stage through to a prime design criteria and a production tool. A number of applications of in situ heat treatment are described which illustrate the degree of sophistication now available in this very specialized area of welded fabrication.
