摘要
Simple analytical expressions are obtained for the flutter critical velocity in different fashions of the cylindrical shell ends fixation by using approximate methods. A method is suggested that allows to evaluate the flutter critical velocities for a cylindrical shell in different boundary conditions by using the simple formulas and refine the result, if necessary, by increasing term number in the solution expansion in a series by eigenfunctions.
