摘要
The steel box-girder tests under pure bending were carried out for three models with pi cross-section. Each model has longitudinally stiffened top flange. The overall behavior of box girders after local buckling of one component, i. e. , web-plate or flange, was carefully observed till the girder failure. It was discussed whether we could expect the additional strength due to the stress-redistribution or not, and the test result shows that the undesirable collapse occurs suddenly after the local buckling of one component.
