FUNDAMENTALS OF APPLIED KINETICS.

General remarks on the recent advances in sophisticated experimental techniques and their applications to investigations of mechanisms and kinetics of chemical reactions are followed by a review of articles recently published on the subject. The review is presented under the main headings - experimental techniques (thermal method, resonance method, mass spectrometry and spectroscopy, miscellaneous techniques); kinetics and mechanisms of inorganic reactions (gas-phase, liquid phase, reactions involving a solid phase, pyrolysis and solid phase reaction); kinetics and mechanisms of organic reactions (synthesis, pyrolysis, oxidation, hydrolysis and catalysis in solution, miscellaneous effect on reactions); kinetics and mechanisms of radiation-induced reactions. refs.
