Technology for improving the iron contents in pellets at shaft furnaces with elements of in-furnace conversion of natural gas

摘要
To upgrade the efficiency and productivity of shaft furnaces for pellet metallization it is proposed to use natural gas conversion inside of the furnace. Experiments were carried out when metallizing ferrous pellets. Practical recommendations are given to calculate the quantity of gas that is fed into the furnace. The productivity by spongy iron is shown to increase by 1 t/h, the degree of pellet metallization - by 1%.
