摘要
An experiment was conducted to assess the effectiveness of construction method to strengthen existing buildings against earthquakes. Specimens were made by placing a wall panel into precast frame. Reversed static lateral loads simulating earthquake load were applied to the specimens. This paper deals with walls designed to fail in flexure, and studies the effect of the separation of construction joint on flexural strength of shear wall.
