摘要：
An investigation was conducted to determine the effects of the wall boundaries on the formation of the recirculating flow of the flow past a circular cylinder. Basing from the computed data, it was found that this effect is insignificant even at a small blockage ratio. Additionally, the uniform and parabolic velocity distribution at the upstream boundary did not lead to different centerline velocity profiles at the rear of the cylinder.
