摘要
Self-similar flows behind a cylindrical shock waves in magnetogasdynamics are studied. The magnetogasdynamic or ionizing shock is assumed to be propagating in a medium at rest with nonuniform density permeated by an azimuthal magnetic field generated by a constant line current passing along the line source of the blast wave. The electrical conductivity of the gas is infinite everywhere or infinite behind the shock and zero ahead of it in both cases respectively. Flows with zero temperature gradient (Isothermal) are considered here. A comparative study has been made between the results of ordinary gas dynamics and magnetogasdynamics.
