摘要
For studying small signal stability of power systems the generator connected to infinite bus (SMIB) is modelled using Heffron-Phillip-de Mello - Concordia small perturbation transfer function model in terms of K-parameters. A practical example of an SMIB has been simulated on the model and the variation of K-parameters for the systems over a wide range of variation of operating conditions has been computed, presented as a set of curves and analysed. The values of the parameters K1 to K6 for the chosen SMIB can be obtained from these curves for any set of operating conditions. The programme specially developed for these computations is general and can be used to obtain the parameters at any operating condition of any SMIB system. Expressions of K-parameters have been derived and applied to computations for a numerical example in the Appendix.
