摘要
Results are presented of a study on the influence of austenite stabilized by heating into the two-phase region on the wear of maraging steel in sliding friction. Its negative influence on the wear resistance in the velocity interval 0. 3-6 m/sec is shown. Possible reasons for the noted phenomenon are discussed. The friction and wear tests were conducted using a technique with specific load 1 MPa; the counterbody was a Kh12M steel disc (HRC 61). The structure and phase composition of the specimen working surface were studied by the metallographic, roentgenographic, and microdurometric methods.
