摘要
The pyroelectric vidicon is an infrared sensitive camera tube which has a pyroelectric target that is electronically scanned for infrared thermal imaging. The target operates at ambient temperature and does not require any cooling system. Some problems, like signal-to-noise ratio, flicker, and thermal diffusion in pyroelectric vidicon applications are explored. Several signal processing techniques used in advancement of pyroelectric vidicons are described.
