摘要：
A new surfactant, sodium monoalkylbenzenesulfonate, was synthesized. Lowering of the surface tension at various concentrations of this compound was measured, critical micelle concentration was determined. It has been shown that the compound synthesized simultaneously decelerates anode dissolution of steel and cathode depolarization. Therefore, it protects the metal surface from electrolytes and may be used as a component of cutting fluids.
