Gould Paper Acquires UK Merchant Group

Gould Paper acquired Salehurst Group Ltd. in the UK from Bridge point Capital through Gould's UK subsidiary, WWF Internationl UK Ltd.. The acquisition of Salehurst will add critical mass to Gould Paper's growing magazine and catalogue business in the UK. This acquisition by Gould Paper doubles WWF International's sales revenue, to more than £80 million. Gould said that its UK subsidiary, WWF International UK Ltd., will become the largest paper distributors after the three national merchant groupings in the UK.
